CLUTCH PUMPS combine the unique advantage of the self-priming flexible Impeller Jabsco Pump and a clutch-drive mechanism to
engage or disengage the pump as needed. They are available with either manual or electric clutches for application versatility. Generally
they are powered by propulsion engines but may be driven by any adequate source of belt drive power. The clutch will "free wheel"
with the source of power until the pump is required. Then, whenever desired, the clutch can be engaged to throw the pump into opera-
tion for emergency or general circulation requirements.
