Turnbuckle Accessories
TECHNO-TIP FROM JOHNSON MARINE - One of the most neglected parts on a sailboat are the lifeline and
rigging turnbuckles. Turnbuckles need to be kept free of dirt and salt by rinsing with fresh water periodically. A good marine
lubricant should be applied to the threads. The lubricant will provide corrosion protection and keep the turnbuckles turning
freely. Never try to straighten a bent threaded stud.
